Deacon's Ministry

Mission Statement

The Deacons are dedicated, loyal supporters of the Pastor, chosen and ordained to serve the members of the Church. They assist the Pastor in the administration of the ordinances and provide leadership in the general watch care of the Spiritual interest of the Church.

 

Deaconess Ministry

Mission Statement

The goal of the Deaconess Ministry is to support the work of the Deacons; each Deaconess serves as a “helpmeet” to her husband. The Deaconesses are called to provide godly examples for the women of the congregation in church and family life. 

 

Prison Ministry

Mission Statement

The mission of the Prison Ministry is support persons incarcerated in adult and juvenile facilities through visitations, Bible study, mentoring and assistance for those returning to their homes and communities.

 

Women's Ministry

The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to cultivate Godly relationships with other women of the church and community through informal dinner gatherings to discuss the Bible and activities/workshops for adult and young adult women.

The mission of the Bridge of Hope grocery club is to help reduce hunger in the Southbridge community by providing food on a monthly basis to financially challenged families.

 

Scholarship Ministry

Mission Statement

The mission of the Scholarship Ministry is to assist church members in their quest for higher education (undergraduate and graduate degrees) and advanced career training. In addition to financial assistance, the Scholarship Ministry also provides educational guidance and spiritual support to our members.

 

Trustee Ministry

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Trustee Ministry is to manage the physical property and oversee the financial resources and matters of the church with spiritual sensitivity. The Trustee Ministry provides direction, leadership and recommendations that enable the pastor and congregation to execute God’s Mission for the church.

 

Usher Ministry

Mission Statement

TheNew Calvary Baptist Church ushers ministry is a great way to get involved in meeting and greeting people, and becoming familiar with the church, and bulding your confidence in Chrsit Jesus. Ushers Ministry is dedicated to help usher God's people into the sanctuary, as well as maintain an atmosphere of reverence and order before, during and after the service.

The Missionaries of NCBC seek to serve God by serving others, specifically by providing for the needs of the sick, homebound, bereaved or those in distress, while inviting all to a saving knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

 

Security Ministry

The Security Ministry exists to provide for the safety of NCBC members and its grounds during church services and related activities.

 

 

Transportation Ministry

The Transportation Ministry’s role is to provide needed transportation that is safe and convenient for our elderly saints and other members for church services or other related activities.

The role of the Music Ministry is to worship God, minister to the congregation through biblically based, uplifting music and to create an atmosphere of praise and receptivity to the proclaimed Word of God.

Mission Statement:

The Board of Christian Education operates in coordination with the pastor to plan and support all NCBC Christian Education, including Sunday School, Bible Study, Vacation Bible Scholl, Workshops, and Seminars in order to foster and support spiritual growth in the church membership.

 

 

Christian Couples Ministry

Mission Statement

The Christian Couples Ministry utilizes biblically based group study to support NCBC  married couples and members who are in a serious relationship. The goal is to provide committed couples with opportunities for Christian growth and development in their personal relationship with each other as well as their walk with Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement:

The NCBC Youth Ministry seeks to encourage young people to learn about fellowship with Jesus, the Christ and become imitators of Him.  We seek to do this through living as a community and being accountable to one another as brothers and sisters.  Youth leaders give themselves as an offering to please God through the disciplining of His beloved children.  Be it dance, song, community service or dinner, we motivate everyone to remember, "Our service is unto the Lord/" 

 

Health Ministry
