Welcome From The Pastor

Governor John Carney’s State of Emergency Guidelines for Churches and Houses of Worship have been adjusted to permit 30% of the building’s fire capacity, along with ongoing social distancing requirements. This adjustment is encouraging, as our congregation looks forward to resuming normal worship services and related activities. However, the New Calvary Baptist Church will continue to worship virtually. This decision is based on the most recent State of Delaware COVID - 19 data, which reports the continued rise in positive cases of COVID - 19, particularly among the most vulnerable populations.
The health and safety of our members has always been the driving force behind how the New Calvary leadership team has responded to the Coronavirus and Governor Carney’s Emergency guidelines. We will continue to monitor reported test results and increased opportunities for COVID - 19 testing for the public and opportunities for vaccinations. Until there is a significant decline in Coronavirus related positive cases, hospitalizations and deaths in New Castle County, all church assemblies and activities will remain suspended.

Please be Encouraged in the Lord.
