Welcome!

 

On behalf of the entire New Calvary family, I want to extend a warm and heartfelt greeting to you.  Whether you’re visiting us for the first time or have been part of our community for years, we’re so glad you’re here.

 

New Calvary Baptist Church is a 116 year old historic place of worship located in South Wilmington, DE.  It is a place where we seek to grow in faith, love, and service to others, all while living out the teachings and model of Jesus Christ.  Our mission is “Preaching, Teaching and Reaching”  (Matthew 28:19-20).   Our continued spiritual  growth is directed by  this year’s theme: “A Season of Loving” (1st John 4:7-8).  We are reminded that, in every season, we are called to reflect God’s love in our relationships with one another.

 

We invite you to explore, connect, and be encouraged as you take part in the life of our church, both online and in person.
