On behalf of the entire New Calvary family, I extend a warm and sincere welcome to our webpage.  Whether this is your first time visiting with us or you have been a faithful part of our church family over the years, we are truly thankful for your presence.

 

New Calvary Baptist Church is a historic congregation with more than 80 years of faithful ministry in South Wilmington, Delaware.  Rooted in a rich legacy of worship and service, we remain committed to growing in faith, strengthening our love for God and one another, and serving our community in meaningful ways.  We seek to live out the teachings and example of Jesus Christ in all that we do.

 

Our mission is clear and enduring: “Preaching, Teaching, and Reaching; God’s People Making a Difference” (Matthew 28:19–20).  

 

Fear is one of the defining struggles of challenging times.  However, as believers we have been called to live out an active and obedient faith.  We are reminded to confront our fears with faith.  This year’s theme is: “Walking By Faith, Not by Fear” (2ndCorinthians 5:17).  Our confidence rests not in what we see, but in Who God is.

 

We invite you to explore, connect, and be encouraged as you engage in the life and ministry of New Calvary Baptist Church - both in person and online.  There is a place for you here, and we look forward to growing together in faith.
