Revelation 12:11

“And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of their testimony;

and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Thesis Statement: Missionaries may not wear medals or march in parades, but they are God’s silent

heroes, overcoming the enemy through the blood, the Word, and their witness.

 

1. OVERCOMERS ARE PURCHASED BY THE BLOOD. (Verse 11a)

 The missionaries’ ministry begins at Calvary’s Fountain.

 The blood of the Lamb is both your message and your motivation.

 We are:

o Redeemed, not by our worth, but by His wounds.

o Cleansed, not by our record, but by His righteousness.

o Called, not by our merit, but by His mercy.

 

2. OVERCOMERS ARE PROPELLED BY THE WORD. (Verse 11b)

 Missionaries are overcomers because of what they proclaim.

 They overcome Satan’s lies by declaring God’s truth.

 Every testimony is a declaration of victory.

 The enemy trembles whenever a believer opens their mouth to testify!

 

3. OVERCOMERS ARE PROVEN BY THE LIFE THEY LIVE. (Verse 11c)

 Missionaries remind us what it means to live a surrendered life.

 The Gospel advances not through comfort, but through commitment.

 Missionaries:

o Have counted the cost, and found Christ worth it all.

o Are not chasing applause; you’re carrying a cross.

o Are not seeking recognition; you’re seeking redemption for others.

o Have traded safety for souls, and comfort for Christ.
